EMERGENCE

The Collection
WHERE EMERGENCE BECAME DIRECTION
Emergence is a contemporary realist collection exploring the moment wildlife moves from obscurity into presence. The series was exhibited at the Booth Museum of Western Art in the Prescott Gallery from January 4 – March 6, 2022, highlighting themes of resilience, instinct, and becoming through high-contrast compositions and restrained palettes. From this collection, Magisterial was acquired into the museum’s permanent collection, marking a lasting institutional recognition of the work.

Since its debut, the majority of the works from Emergence have been placed in institutional collections or acquired by private collectors, marking a pivotal movement in the establishment of Rader's wildlife practice.
