Service Description
In this 1.5–2 hour guided class, kids will learn to paint a different animal each week while developing their creativity and confidence with art. Each session is led step-by-step by professional wildlife artist Ashley Rader, making it easy for beginners to follow along while still encouraging each child to add their own unique style and personality to their artwork. Students will explore basic painting techniques such as color mixing, brushwork, layering, and simple ways to bring animals to life on canvas. Every class features a new animal theme, so young artists can return week after week to build their skills and grow their collection of artwork. Each student will work on a larger 11×14 canvas, creating a finished painting they can proudly take home and display. For students who want an even bigger project, 16×20 canvases and larger will be available as an optional upgrade for an additional $20+. Kids will also have the opportunity to experiment with special studio materials, including optional gold leaf embellishments and mixed media textures, allowing them to make their artwork truly unique. To make the experience even more special, each painting will be photographed in the studio, and students will receive a high-quality print of their artwork to take home—perfect for displaying in a frame alongside their original painting. To encourage young artists to keep creating, students who attend five classes will receive a special prize from the studio as a reward for their dedication and creativity. Cancellation Policy
Registration & Payment - Full payment is required to reserve your seat in a workshop or class. Space is limited and registration is first come, first served. Cancellation Policy - If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us at least 48 hours prior to the workshop so that we may offer the seat to another participant. Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will receive either a class credit toward a future workshop or a transfer to another available session. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are non-refundable and non-transferable, as materials and seating are prepared in advance. No-Shows - Participants who do not attend the workshop and do not provide prior notice will forfeit their registration fee. Minimum Enrollment Workshops require a minimum number of participants. If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment, Rader Art Studios reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the workshop. Participants will be notified and offered either a full refund or class credit. Late Arrivals - Workshops begin promptly. Participants arriving more than 20 minutes late may miss important instruction and may not be able to fully participate in the session. Children & Teen Sessions - Youth workshops are designed for the specified age range listed in the class description. For safety and focus, only registered students may remain in the studio during class time unless otherwise specified. Materials - Unless otherwise noted, all basic materials are provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own preferred brushes or supplies if desired.
